Automation is a major focus area for us, and it is an exciting area in continuous development. If you work within this field at Danish Crown, you will be able to continuously develop your knowledge about new technologies.

This is can be through participation in courses and on the job learning. Our aim is to empower employees so that they at all times are able to ensure the daily operation at our factories and at the same time can provide qualitative input in connection with new projects.

Apprenticeships in Production

Butcher Apprentice

Quality Craftsmanship

As a butcher apprentice you learn to cut and turn the meat into products that are sold both at home and abroad.

You learn to use the automatic control technique, as well as master both quality and meat control etc. The training for a butcher takes two years with the possibility of a third year of specialization.

Intestinal Cleaner

Denmark is the only place in the world where we educate to become intestinal cleaners. It is a craft of high precision and quality. You will need a sharp eye for detail and a passion for perfection.

We do not need to be a natural talent to excel as an intestinal cleaner. If you have the drive and desire, we will help you with the rest.

Technical Apprentice

Join us in the engine room

In Danish Crown we offer different technical apprenticeships, for example as automation technician or electrician. The courses can vary from country to country.

In Denmark the education typically is a combination between school and internships in a broad basic course and a specialized main course. You must have 9 years of schooling or equivalent.
