After six years as a member of the board of Danish Crown, including the last two years as vice-chairman, Camilla Sylvest has decided to step down from Danish Crown's Board of Directors to focus on other tasks. However, she will continue to serve as a board member until a replacement is found.

"Danish Crown has come a long way in consolidating the boards under the new governance model and is now in place with a new executive management team, so it feels completely natural for me to step down now to be able to spend more time on other priorities. I have had an exciting role in recent years, and I have been happy to contribute to Danish Crown. Therefore, I will also remain on the board during a transition period so that the company has time to find a new member in my place," says Camilla Sylvest.

As Executive Vice President, Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs at Novo Nordisk, Camilla Sylvest has been part of Danish Crown's business board.

"Camilla's contribution to Danish Crown has been significant, both as a board member and vice-chairman of the board of directors. On behalf of the entire company, I would like to thank her for the considerable effort she has put into strengthening Danish Crown, and I am pleased that she will continue to work on the board during the transition period, giving us time to find the right replacement," says Asger Krogsgaard, chairman of Danish Crown.

Danish Crown's new Board of Directors will meet on December 19 with five owner-elected members, three employee representatives, and five external board members. The Nomination and Evaluation Committee is responsible for finding Camilla Sylvest's replacement, and this work will begin now.
