After six years as a member of the board of Danish Crown, including the last two years as vice-chairman, Camilla Sylvest has decided to step down from Danish Crown's Board of Directors to focus on other tasks. However, she will continue to serve as a board member until a replacement is found.
"Danish Crown has come a long way in consolidating the boards under the new governance model and is now in place with a new executive management team, so it feels completely natural for me to step down now to be able to spend more time on other priorities. I have had an exciting role in recent years, and I have been happy to contribute to Danish Crown. Therefore, I will also remain on the board during a transition period so that the company has time to find a new member in my place," says Camilla Sylvest.
As Executive Vice President, Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs at Novo Nordisk, Camilla Sylvest has been part of Danish Crown's business board.
"Camilla's contribution to Danish Crown has been significant, both as a board member and vice-chairman of the board of directors. Danish Crown's new Board of Directors will meet on December 19 with five owner-elected members, three employee representatives, and five external board members. The Nomination and Evaluation Committee is responsible for finding Camilla Sylvest's replacement, and this work will begin now.
