Meet Mathias, from trainee to Sales Manager
Mathias started his career at Danish Crown as a sales trainee in Denmark, where he gained extensive experience he could use to further his career. Today, Mathias works as a Sales Manager at our sales office in Chiasso, Switzerland.
- From the beginning, my dream was to go abroad, so when my two-year trainee position was coming to an end, I went to my manager and told him I wanted my next step to be somewhere abroad - anywhere in the world, except for Germany which was a little too close to home, says Mathias.
Working abroad provided valuable experience
Mathias Lynge Mikkelsen is a graduate of our export trainee programme. He gained extensive experience in the Group's foreign departments.
Since Mathias graduated in the autumn of 2014 at our head office in Randers, Denmark, a lot has happened. He did a two-year stay in New Jersey in the United States, which then led to an opportunity in France, where he now works at our office in Orléans, in south of Paris.
